A Little Princess, the Musical is an adaptation by Bill Francoeur of the classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Young student Sara Crewe, heiress to a large fortune, is enrolled at Miss Minchin’s seminary in Victorian England. Sara’s life takes a dramatic turn when she receives news of the loss of her father and fortune while he is at war. Sara is forced by the greedy Miss Minchin to become a servant and live in a wretched attic. When a mysterious gentleman from India moves next door, curious things begin to happen. A touching and beautiful musical score adds more magic to this enchanting family show.
In the spirit of “every little girl is born a princess”, Quick As A Wink Theatre invites all little girls age 12 and under who attend the show to dress in their princess finery for this very special performance. Young lads can dress as princes too!
